Shirley Hall Memorial Youth Art Show
For over 20 years, the Art League of Ocean City has organized and presented a youth art show in cooperation with Worcester County Schools. The purpose of this event is to promote creativity and allow the middle and high school students of Worcester County to present their artwork in a professional setting - the Ocean Ocean City Center for the Arts. Cash prizes are awarded to the students. Opening Reception; Friday, March 2, 5-7pm

Contemporary paintings often showcase a wide variety of special effects—especially when the imagery is abstract. Many of those effects can be achieved by pouring acrylic paint. Pouring is a great way to smooth out unwanted texture, get marbleized effects, rich colored glazes, and add some fun to your painting process.
