Pour Paint Techniques Workshop With Geri Gaskill
Contemporary paintings often showcase a wide variety of special effects—especially when the imagery is abstract. Many of those effects can be achieved by pouring acrylic paint. Pouring is a great way to smooth out unwanted texture, get marbleized effects, rich colored glazes, and add some fun to your painting process. The band, "the Electric Co." was founded by songwriter Nate Clendenen, drummer/percussionist Sonny Martin, and bassist/songwriter John Sybert on Maryland's Eastern Shore. They played, traveled, wrote, recorded, and spent more blood, sweat, and tears than ever before. After hundreds of shows, thousands of miles traveled, multiple recording sessions, one dynamite debut album, and three lead guitar players, Nate and Sonny have moved on to form the fifth generation of their band, now called "Eastern Electric".
