Join the Art League of Ocean City to help end hunger!
Here’s how you can help: join us on these dates to create a bowl free of charge as part of the Empty Bowl Project. Then join us for the Soup Dinner on March 19 from 5-8 PM. For a $20 donation, enjoy a dinner of soup, bread, and desserts donated by local restaurants and take home a bowl to remind you of all the empty bowls in the world. Proceeds to benefit Diakonia and the Art League of Ocean City.

Did you know there were once hunting lodges and homes all over Assateague Island? There’s a long history of waterfowl hunting traditions there, and if only the walls of those buildings and duck blinds could talk! Well the next best thing to being there–on the marshes of Assateague Island, enjoying the natural beauty and bounty, and the community that sprung up because of it–is listening to the stories and memories of the people who lived the history.
Join us at the Ward Museum, where we’ll get to learn about the waterfowling heritage of Assateague first hand from the folks who called it home. The roundtable will feature hunting lodge and club owners, members, and employees, as well as others who worked or hunted on the island. Audience members will be invited to share their own stories, too!
This event is FREE! Light refreshments will be served, with catering by Billie’s Catering of Crisfield.
Contact the Ward Museum at 410-742-4988 x119 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
