Sep 27 @ 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm

In 1962, the East Coast suffered a storm that the U.S. Geological Survey deemed one of the most destructive storms ever to affect the Mid-Atlantic states.  The Ash Wednesday Storm was classified as a level 5, or extreme Nor’easter. Ocean City experienced 60 mile-per-hour winds and 25 foot waves for a period of three days: and five high tides.  Listen to the experiences shared by Ocean City locals who lived through this natural disaster.

Kevin Poole at Harpoon Hanna’s @ Harpoon Hanna's
Sep 27 @ 9:00 pm – Sep 28 @ 1:00 am
Kevin has been playing music professionally in Ocean City, MD since 1993.  Kevin recorded his first album, Going Home, in 1996, a mix of tempos and styles. Kevin’s second album Troubador was released in 2001. Troubador is a very layered and meticulously recorded CD created with a large band and encompassing many musical styles. Scenic Route is a fun lighthearted CD with an eclectic mix of originals and covers, including covers of the Beatles, Elvis Costello, The Church and more. Originals such as A.D.D., Stairway to Kevin, King Midas, and the crowd favorite, Redneck Nascar Honey, which has received a lot of airplay in the Maryland/Delaware area.
